lonely moon

Taken just out of Queenstown NZ. I printed a variation on this image, without the moon (Moonlake) with a better tonal range. I am not sure which image is the strongest. I think I like this one better, because the moon ties into moon-like landscape of the lake and the bent tree adds to inhospitible feel of the landscape. If you have an opinion, I would greatly appreciate to hear it! Or even better, if you have a suggestion on how I can improve either image i would love to hear it
